Creating new IssueManager Enhanced translation (PHP)

Creating new IssueManager Enhanced translation (PHP)

IssueManager Enhanced 3.0 is an application prepared for easy translation. It comes with two languages by default: English and Polish. To create your custom translation you need to follow several steps described below:

  1. Copy /en.txt file into a new file named as <2 char language code>.txt , (for example fr.txt). See Appendix 1.
  2. Translate all values in the new file to your desired language.
  3. In Common.php lookup line 50, just after existing en and pl languages specifications that follow pattern:
    $CCSLocales->AddLocale(...);
  4. Copy en language specification and paste afterwards. Fill your new language specification according to Appendix 2 and 3, for example for French:
    $CCSLocales->AddLocale("fr", Array("fr", "FR", ...
  5. After files are created and translation prepared you should browse your application, open Administration section and go to Languages page to create new selectable entry in the top language switching combo box.
